Meet the Assistant Principal

Reghan Russell comes to Peaster ISD with 13 years in education, 7 of which has been spent serving at the district, state, and national levels in roles from secondary ELAR teacher and sports coach to school improvement and leadership coach under TEA, and most recently as a national director for a Multilingual Learner program across five states.

Reghan's passion is creating schools and systems where every student can thrive and every educator can grow. She holds a B.A. in English from Texas State University and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from University of Texas at Arlington.

Outside of work, Reghan and her husband, Brandall, are kept on their toes chasing around their four boys, Haven Maddox (11), Caellum Alan (8), Brazen Creed (2), and Torran Rhome (6m). Their life is joyfully full of chaos of the best kind: legos, game nights, pool days, dinosaurs, sharks, robots, sports, and traveling. In her spare time, Reghan loves reading, cooking, Muay Thai, Tennis, country dancing, and sometimes crocheting random objects.
